10-Year Limited Warranty
BOTA carries a 10-year limited warranty against manufacturer's defects in materials and workmanship. BOTA will repair or replace any product covered by this warranty at no cost using like or similar parts. The customer is responsible for return shipping fees.
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Damage from improper use or storage
- Accidents, loss, or theft
- Abuse, misuse, or product alterations
- Damage caused by pets
- Discoloration, cosmetic blemishes, or changes in appearance due to normal wear and tear
Changes in appearance over time are considered normal wear and tear and do not affect product performance. These are not covered under warranty.

Limited Lifetime Warranty
Original UserThis warranty extends to the original consumer purchaser only and is not transferable. Coverage applies for as long as the original purchaser occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. This warranty applies to all products sold on or after August 21, 2025.
To initiate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must return the defective product to the retailer from whom it was purchased along with proof of purchase.

There is no finish warranty on unlacquered living brass finishes.
Mechanical Warranty
BOTA warrants that each Brass-Seal product shall be free of mechanical defects under normal use from the date of purchase for as long as the original purchaser occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed.
