Testing
The Brass-Seal™ System has been independently tested by Intertek to ASTM E283, the industry standard for measuring air leakage through exterior doors and fenestration. Tested at 75 Pascal, the equivalent of approximately 25 mph wind pressure, the system recorded an air infiltration rate of 0.20 cfm/ft² and an air exfiltration rate of 0.11 cfm/ft², against an allowable maximum of 0.30 cfm/ft² for both measures. The complete Intertek test report (No. T4376.01-301-44-R1) is available to press, architects, and specifiers upon request.
